Soooo my brother wanted to do this shoot with me on a spur of the moment idea. We filled up the empty cans with water and he sliced them with a large kitchen knife. I had to be fast! It was fun and I took tons of shots. Next time we do it though...better background!!! Shots were taken with Nikon D60 SS on 1/200
NOTE to those who are asking: This photo is NOT a digital drawing! I do not know anything about digital art, I am a photographer. I caught this shot at the right moment. It is not impossible!!!!!!!! If it were a digital drawing, I would have a better background than a BBQ pit and a piece of styrofoam!
The cans are being recycled for another project of mine.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactOkay, so the bad first (only because the positive overshadows the negative...)
That red and harsh black absolutely kills this picture. I know you're pointed it out, and won't include it again... just harsh to look at.
The idea is a little cliched, what with the whole can spraying water. I actually like the other images in this series a bit more for that reason (also, their blue overcast with the red coke can is drool worthy).
And now the good:
Your execution is very nice. Aside from the strange background, I LOVE the crisp water, the tight edge of the coke can, the sharp shadows. I'd tone down the glare off the bottom of the can personally, but it doesn't by any means ruin the image. I love the diagonal cut and the spray of water, the crystal clear clarity... the framing of the composition! I really hope (if you reshoot this) the can turns out EXACTLY like this - it looks so refreshing, for some reason. Nice photo!
